Is Vanish worth it?

Hi!

Has anyone tried Tesco’s own brand Oxy powder/spray for removing stains? Is it worth a shot or should I stick to the extremely overpriced Vanish brand?

Stick to vanish, well If it’s the white one. Just bought the powder after using an own brand and the difference is very noticeable.

there was an interview with a football kit chap on five live (professional team) he mentioned vanish and the presenter hurriedly said “other brands are of course available “ kit man - yes but none of them work as well”.

I have the vanish soap bar and it lasts ages.

I use Astonish I get it in Savers occasionally the £shop its just as good as vanish imo

Do you mean this one? Is it safe to use on colours?

Yes I always get Tesco or Aldi version, it works just as well

I love Vanish bars, but they get harder and harder to find!

Yep. I only use it on whites. For stains on other stuff (not that we have many as 2 adults and a 13 year old) I do use a generic spray.

I use this one and it is so good for stains. I get it In poundstretcher.

I'm well impressed with my Vanish stain remover pre-wash stick! I used it on some tomato sauce stains on a T-shirt. I had already washed the shirt, but the stains hadn't come out fully. I wet the shirt, rubbed the stick into the area, & washed it again. It completely got rid of the stains! It must be over 20 years old, but it still works perfectly!

You can get them in savers . I bought one last week .

I still use my deodourant stick-style one, which I've had for maybe even 30 years!
