I have 2 DC, a dog and a DH and I am DESPERATE to get new / revamp my current couches. Our ones are about 12 years old, brown nubuck leather and are so ugly (but so, so comfy!). We have a 3 seater and 2 seater (both recliners).

I try and clean the leather once every couple of months (dishwasher tablet dissolved in water and then scrubbed on with a tea towel), but it just looks... ugh. I would love new sofas but DH is reluctant to as the dog likes to sleep on the couch (I would be more strict about this if we had new couches!).

I've had a look for sofa covers but can't seem to find any decent ones that can fit a recliner (we often use the reclined aspect as we love getting our feet up).

Can anyone recommend any nice looking couch covers? I did buy a stretchy cover for an arm chair last year and it looks terrible!

I don't know if this would work for you but I use single fitted sheets made from that fleecy material. They stretch nicely, don't go baggy and are comfy but you can also whip them off and wash and dry them in no time. I bought mine from Next but you can get them anywhere and they are likely in the sale now as most winter stock is
