dd has got hold of one of my bright lipsticks and drawn a big thick line on my sofa (can be washed gently so hope that will be ok), on my cream carpet and wool rug. Help, how do I get it out please? I know it's waxy but i'm hoping one of you has some tips. Obviously wiping it with a baby wipe only makes it worse as i've discovered!!!!

To get lippy off the carpet, scrape away any deposit then treat with a stain remover such as stain devils grease and oil stain remover or carpet devils no 1 followed by shampooing.

thanks nab3. I did a search and it came up with a site that suggested using washing up (diluted) liquid. I've used that and it has come off, mostly. The rug is a little stained but not that you'd really notice as it's patterned and the carpet needs a clean at some point anyway. thanks for the tip though
