Never heard of them until now! Little cunts were under a wicker basket and aye a whole patch of berber. With everything going on we can't afford to re carpet the guest room where they were and can cover it. How do we prevent them?! Have ordered a spray from amazon but so worried they may spread to our other rooms now they've been rumbled...

I think they have a high and fast replication rate. You may need to lift the carpet!

We had wool carpets, and I managed to overlook an infestation. While I did see the odd moth, I didn't see any damage until it was too late. It was only when I moved furniture and saw what they'd eaten that I realised we had a problem. It took daily vacuuming including moving all furniture every few days, sprays, traps etc to keep it under control. Didn't get rid of them though - had to get rid of the carpets to do that.

Bomb the fuckers, it's the only way. Amazon sell the smoke bombs - fantastic. Follow the instructions - you may need to repeat in a few weeks but will do the job.
