Electric Scrubbing Brushes

Does anyone have one-are they any good?

I've seen some on instagram & checked out some on Amazon. We live in a hard water area and our shower screens, basins & taps are a nightmare to keep pristine, if they really do what it says on the tin that would make my life so much easier!

Are you talking about the JML one?

I bought it some years ago, once you press the brush on the thing you want to clean the brush stopped turning. I dumped it soon after

I've got one that's like a big electric toothbrush- it's great!

@bellac11 I've not seen the JML one but they do all look fairly similar

@ooherrmissus14 which one do you have?

I have a pink stuff one. It's rubbish.

I have a Sonic Scrubber. I like it, it’s quite satisfying to use!

I have a Tilswall Electric Spin Scrubber (Model QXJ-M1). It's rechargeable. I found battery charged scrubbers got a bit feeble once the batteries started running down.

It's got an extending handle, and comes with four differently shaped brushes. I got it from Amazon.

I spent ages poring over the different brushes, looking at spin speeds, recharging times etc, and this seemed the best of the bunch.

I use the pointy brush attachment to get into the grimy inner bits of uPVC windows..

I think the Tilswall scrubber was what I saw on Instagram, it looks quite good as do the sonic scrubbers.

Just reading the description for the tilswall scrubber and this is what it said 'Tilswall spin scrubber changed traditional manual cleaning, caring about women!' Hmm. Not sure they'll be getting my custom now!

I've got the "Sonic Scrubbers" one and love it. It's probably better for preventing buildup of dirt and limescale than tackling things that are already out of hand.

I use rechargeable AA batteries in mine.

I had a battery powered (rechargeable) scrubber that i purchased on a whim from TikTok Shop - cheap and cheerful... but lasted around 1 week before it died on me. Battery was pretty shoddy!

So i went back to basics with something more traditional - and natural Everyday Wooden Hand Scrub Brush - Stiff – The Brush & Broom at Hillbrush

It does, however. require a little more elbow-grease - but my batteries are more robust than the ones i had in that bloody electric monstrosity!

Everyday Wooden Hand Scrub Brush - Stiff

210mm scrub brush filled with bassine fibres, ideal for domestic or industrial use, as part of the Everyday range a lightweight alternative to standard industrial brushes.
