molting rug???

Hi
anyone know what on earth I can do about my rug, its lovely and just right for our living room, but its molting all the time and we have had it for nearly 3 months, its regularly hoovered.

Got it from ikea, Im sure its probably cheaply made as this is the second rug we bought from them.

Any ideas?

Our rug took about 6 months to settle down. Hang in there.
