How to clean electric hob marked by burnt on 'nylon' cloth (pics attached)

Have previously had an induction hob. As it instantly cooled I could wipe up any spills straight away with a cloth.

Not so with my new glass electric hob.

Last night saucepan boiled over a little and I instinctively wiped up the water with a 'nylon' kitchen cloth which melted onto the hob.

I know not to use cream cleaner or scratchy pads, but how do I remove the mark?

Pictures are of hob and offending cloth.

Put the hob back on a low heat so the plastic melts and wipe pff?

Might it peel off if it gets cold enough? Put an ice pack on it for a few mins?

Scraper designed for hobs. Most supermarkets have them.
