please help with cleaning advice

Hello wise people of Mumsnet. We have a situation involving an air BnB cottage fabric sofa and pot of dominoes garlic sauce...

It's a noticeable stain, we don't know what to do and we only have access to basic cleaning products.

Please help!

Looks greasy. I'd try washing up liquid.

Cleaner here. Dr Beckmann cleaner is amazing. Has a built in brush.

Got any bicarbonate?

Rub bicarbonate of soda in, let it dry and brush it off. It should absorb the grease.
