How to get rid of dents in carpet caused by castors on chair?

Very dullard topic, but:

We moved the furniture around in the lounge before Xmas and there are some deep dents left in the carpet where an armchair was (with castors) There are about 6 dents (chair moved a bit!) and no amount of vacuuming or the passage of time has diminished them

Any ideas? They look really unsightly (look like dirt from a distance) and are the 1st things you see when you walk into the room...

no idea but you can get like coaster things for your chairs next time.

Try putting a soft towel over the area and use a steam iron on it, then fluff it up with your hand.
