9ct gold ring tarnished

This is my engagement ring and is 15 years old so very sentimental . I can't even bring myself to wear it anymore. Fertility treatment has been our priority as opposed to the wedding so this is the only ring i have to wear so it means alot to me. The top of the ring, the gold is tarnished and looks very orangey. I'm just wondering is this possible to repair ?
I was going to call in at jewellers but thought I'd ask here in advance as it's a 20mile trip. Could a jewellers clean this ? Or would i be looking at having it reset in a new band? What would be the estimated cost of fixing tarnishing like this. Thanks in advance.

Just get it replated.

If it’s gold then of course it doesn’t need replacing, it just needs a clean! A good clean by a jeweller will have it sparkling again.

Good polish with a specialist cloth and that will be fine. Something like this will do it

Town Talk Gold Polishing Cloth 12 x 17 cm amzn.eu/d/hCNsh2K
