Henry hoover - worth trying to fix?

Our Henry conked out, we've changed the fuse and checked the contractors and nothing has worked. Is it worth trying to get repaired or just buy a new one? He's probs about 10 years old.

We had same thing. I bought new starter switch and it worked for a while again and then just would not switch on. Took to local repair cafe who could not mend but thought it was to do with hi/ lo switch which was not working.
Bought new Henry ( Argos have on offer at the mo) and then DH googled how to sort issue with hi low switch and it suggested just removing it and replacing with a light. He pulled all the wires out that connected the hi/ lo, and lo and behold we now have 2 working Henry's, one for upstairs now 🙂🙂

Lucky you! I think I'll just buy a new one and tell BF it's beyond repair so I get a nice shiny new hoover.
