Good moring everyone

I've got my mum and dad visiting this afternoon, so I need to shop and tidy this morning.
My washing basket is empty so tha is one less job for today though.

Morning jas

my day has not started well, ds is poorly and has a high fever so I am at home today. The boss will not be pleased, especially as I had to take an hour out in the middle of the morning on Friday to take dp home. My dad, bless him, has taken dp to work to save me having to do it or dp having to suffer and hour and a half on the bus.

So if ds isn't too clingy I'm going to make the most of the day and do some jobs

Bewilderbeast · 12/02/2008 08:59

I telephoned work, they are not happy

TheMadHouse · 12/02/2008 08:59

Oh and does any one have any toy story toys

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/02/2008 09:44

Poor baby beast. I hope he sleeps later and you get a break.

We have toy story toys, but I'd better not get rid of them as ds will probably want them in the not too distant future. Sorry. You do seem to be getting a few good offers though.

My injections are now taking their toll, feeling very up/down, hot flushes & very tired. Ellie has really bad cough & snotting for the Uk at the moment.Roll on summer!!!!

&ruby& hope your crew are better soon too.

TheMadHouse · 12/02/2008 09:47

Dream you made me laugh with baby beast - I am sure he is not beast like normally

EHM · 12/02/2008 09:48

I've scrubbed the bath room on Friday & this morning with a toothbrush. its sparkling so I am sure flylady will be happy

TheMadHouse · 12/02/2008 09:48

X posts EHM Sorry the jabs are taking their toll, but hopefully they will be worth it. Good luck with the house

TheMadHouse · 12/02/2008 09:49

Nothing like puttint he house on the market to make you Fly

EHM · 12/02/2008 09:51

tmh thanks you made me about flying. Its thanks to fly that the house is looking so good & hasn't taken so long to get organised for the sale. There are still a few diy jobs which we need to do, but not big enough to stop putting house on market. You sound very up beat?.x

TheMadHouse · 12/02/2008 09:53

I am trying to be. I have decided that the sun is shining and so will I. Life is too short and I had a good nights sleep

EHM · 12/02/2008 09:55

bless ya great attitude. I hope the sunshine continues. Didn't mean to moan about injections forgot how rubbish they can make you feel. Must go door bell is ringing!

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/02/2008 09:56

TMH

I don't envy you at all, selling your house, and dealiing with all the hormones and stuff at the same time EHM. Moving house is becoming one of my wors nightmares. I don't think we'll ever leave here.

I'm not dressed

Don' let me back on here unil I've finished my mornig routine and been to Tescos, please.

OP posts:
TheMadHouse · 12/02/2008 09:57

God moan away. I know how awful stuff like that can be. I had injections 3 times a day both pregnancies. If you can not moan to us then who can you. We are off to - toddlers here we come

ibblewob · 12/02/2008 10:28

Whoo hoo! I'm not dressed either and bed is unmade and toys everywhere... but pleased as DS is breakfasted and dressed and we did half an hour of pasting and sticking vehicle pictures before Granny collected him for Toddler Group.

Sorry for all the poorly peeps, get better soon (((flowers)))

I need to get rid of EVERYTHING in this house to make way for DC2 - is a tiny flat. Like my history books that I've kept since Uni. Definitely feel some 'fling boogies' coming on.

TMH sorry to hear your ILs are rowing... I guess it's not as cute and "Archers"-ish when it's real life!

Grouchyoscar · 12/02/2008 10:40

Well I'll add a moan

DH had a go at me for emptying the DW while he was playing sudoku saying he wanted a 'quiet breakfast' and when I retorted that chance would be a fine thing but I've always got chores to do the twunt started to mock me .

So I threw a metal 1l jug at him and walked off. I'm NOT tolerating that I just know he doesn't comprhened the ammount of work this house is. He couldn't do it.

As I've been spending time in the garden, house flying has been neglected and not a thing has been done. I'm chasing my tail again and not giving quality time to Ed Sadly it seems to be easier to put on an educational video to babysit him and get on with the house work. That's not parenting is it?

We are still in pjs. The front room is a heap and I'm trying hard to muster some gumption. Ed needs a haircut and...I can't be arsed to go out today.

Mopped and scrubbed the kitchen floor tho

sagacious · 12/02/2008 10:45

Post and run for me this morning
Got friends over for lunch so need to get a move on
Mr Sainsbury should be here too (looking out of window) Hope so or I've got nothing to bloody feed them !

Have a good day all

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/02/2008 11:17

Sorry GO but I did at the metal jug throwing! Sounds like something I might do too. Sorry you are feeling unappreciated again though.

igglewob I've had to get rid of more and more stuff as the children have come. We are urrently sleeping on the sofa until we get another bedroom sorted out.

I'm here taking a deep breah and calming down. DD1, DS and I are ready to go. DD2 is dithering about and crying because dd1 won't let her borrow a skirt.
DD1 only owns one skirt, dd2 has loads and still wants more I've told her she will be shopping in her pjs if she isn't dressed in 5 more mins.Best go and see wha she is up to.

OP posts:
EHM · 12/02/2008 11:25

Well pitures of the house should be on line within the next couple of days. The guy over the road has had his house on the market sine last may & has just dropped his price by £10K fecker! So that effects our price
dream please remember to get dressed before you go to Teso
tmh 3 injections a day I such a wuss I thought I had it bad when I did 2 a dayEnjoy toddlers.
saga enjoy your lunch with friends. I do hope Mr S arrives in time
ibblewob how long have you got until dc 2 arrives? good luck with the decluttering.
grouchY on your behalf I would have hit my dh with more than a metal jug. Hope your day gets better.

Right off to make lunch & then walk around the house to admire how clean & tidy it is. except the living room now full of crayons, toys & toddler mess
Have a great day all.enjoy the sunshine.

EHM · 12/02/2008 11:26

dream oops sorry x posts.

Bewilderbeast · 12/02/2008 11:31

grr neighbour woke ds up two seconds after I'd got him to sleep and he will not go back down.
TMH I am afraid that whilst gorgeous and often adorable he can be a beast. By the way can anyone tell me how to deal with a violent angry 16 month old?

As a consequence of ds's klingon impression (poor kid) I have done nothing else yet
