I've had my shark hoover just over a year and this morning I've gone to hoover up and it's blew the house socket fuse so I tried a different plug socket and it's done the same thing I've never had a shark hoover I've always had Gtech! Anyone had the same problem ? I have contacted shark just waiting on them to get back to me.

Have you tried changing the fuse in the plug?

I've had a number of Shark's and never had that problem. If it is blowing fuses then its arcing to earth somewhere. You might be lucky and find its a loose wire in the plug, but they are sealed and you dont want to be messing with them.

When I wanted new spare parts for my old Shark they were very good and they've a reputation for good after sales. If its "just over" a year, then its technically out of warranty,(unless you got extended warranty), but most decent places will cover it.

In the meantime, dont use it. If its blowing fuses, then its almost certainly earthing and your dont want to risk that its earthing to something you can touch.
