Making a larder cupboard more useful

We have a tall larder cupboard with plenty of space and moveable shelves, but it’s still not very easy to see everything and organise. I’ve tried small containers, larger containers, and lazy susans.

Has anyone converted theirs to have pull out baskets? I can see you can buy them to do that but not sure my skills are up to it!

Also here for any other smart ideas. Thanks

I think the ideal is
Worktop level - a shelf
Below worktop - pull out baskets here

Above worktop - trim the shelves down to half depth (but have 1 or 2 more of them). Attach spice racks to the back of the door.
rack if you shop around you can get tin-sized ones as well as the shallow spice racks.

It's not that hard to install the baskets by the way.

@NotMeNoNo - thank you! I knew someone would have a new idea about what to do. Hadn’t thought at all about the idea of a spice rack on the door and I do have spices in the cupboard so that would work, as would the tin suggestion.

Good to hear the baskets aren’t too hard, and much more manageable if it’s just at the lower level.
