On the upper floor we have two rooms with safety balconies (is that what they are called?).
In one room, there are narrow double opening glass doors that open inwards into the room, and a glass balcony with rail immediately outside them. Washing the glass on these is okay because you can reach the inside glass on the balcony (and you can reach the outside with a ladder or extended brush) and you can reach the outside of the doors.
BUT in another room, we have a long set of sliding double doors and a glass balcony that stretches the whole length of this. You can reach part of the inside glass of the balcony where the doors open, but not where the fixed panes are at the sides. And you can't reach the lower half of the outside glass of the doors at all, because it is covered by the balcony. The gap between the window and the balcony is narrow - maybe an inch or two. The doors are wide, so I can't just stick my arm in there to clean.
Does anyone have any helpful experience or magic ideas for getting this glass clean? Are there really skinny magnetic gadgets? Do these actually work anyway?
