Nicest smelling furniture polish

I bought a cheap one and it smelt awful.

Anyone use a furniture polish spray that actually smells nice?

The cheap one… Zoflora? Mumsnetters seems to adore but I can’t stand!

Method. Gorgeous and subtle fragrance

PritiPatelsMaker · 24/02/2023 13:39

I might be being a bit thick here but I though Zoflora was a disinfectant not a polish?

No idea. I just see that name floated around so often and to me it smells like a Yankee candle… cloyingly sweet, cheap and unpleasant!

Is it for wood? The Method almond spray is lovely and works well

I can't stand the stuff either Wink

If you have furniture that really needs polishing, use a proper beeswax one. If you have more everyday furniture, then it doesn’t need polish, just damp dust and use something else for a nice smell.

This one can be purchased in home bargains and the range type shops for just over a pound .a perfectly pleasant Polish with a lovely smell.

This is what i was going to recommend! It just smells fresh, not cloying.

I have the Method almond wood polish which smells lovely. It’s a strong smell though.

PritiPatelsMaker · 24/02/2023 16:52

Thank you always, questionable and toast.

I think I'll try both of them Wink

Another vote for the Method Almond polish here

PritiPatelsMaker · 03/03/2023 14:55

Thanks so much everyone. I've bought the Method one this morning as that was the first one I came across.

Will get some of the wood silk too though next time I'm in Home Bargains Wink

I just tend to damp dust now and burn essential oils in the burner (something like citronella from the health shop)
try it .. house smells great and no fake smells

I damp dust a lot too and use DDog friendly essential oils in a diffuser but actually needed some wood polish for the dining table. The Method one I bought today smells lovely! Wink

I use the Method wood polish, it's got a lovely almond scent.

WaitingForSunnyDays · 21/02/2024 07:43

Don't buy any with silicone, and do look at beeswax. I like the Wood Silk one as well.

WellThisIsFun1 · 21/02/2024 10:13

Wood silk for me. Smells just like Polish used to when I was little
