Trying to follow TOMM and aspects of Flylady. This is what I need to do today, please feel tree to post your ‘to dos’ and ‘to das’ to help keep going during half-term:

  • level one - lol, swish and swipe. Hoover 3 mins, make beds
  • level two - bedrooms - 15 mins in two bedrooms (catching up from yesterday)
  • level three - 15 - 30 mins - hall, stairs and landing
  • sort out and declutter one kitchen cupboard
  • if time, tidy DD’s wardrobe

this is between taking D.C. to an activity for an hour or two and cooking etc…

Shower and hair wash first… get dressed etc… though I don’t wear house shoes as Flylady recommends.

ahhh, better get up and get started. Will check in in an hour or so. ☺️

Just me then, haha!

  • made beds
  • lol in machine and in double spin
  • had a long shower and deep conditioned hair, then styled and did make up so that took a while.
  • made breakfast for family, cleared up after breakfast.
That’s it so far. Onto swish and swipe and then have to take DC to activity…

Feel slightly ridiculous keeping this up by myself but it seems to be working so here goes:

hung up washing outside for first day this year ✅
made light lunch ✅
wiped down front door ✅

onto l2 bedrooms and hall now.
that will probably be enough for one day as want to get out while it’s still a bit sunny

Well done OP! Keep going.

I am slowly working my way through the laundry mountain. There’s five of us and it is relentless. (Plus a fluffy dog who creates so much dust.)

I love this! I always need something to get me off my arse and getting shit done!
one load of washing done - will dry indoors as the weather sudden;y looks iffy
Washing up mostly done - need to do glasses in clean water
Currently doing work (music reviews)

Need to
Sweep/hoover the living room and under the big sofa
Sort the papers I left on the floor two days ago - which I left there to make me do it!
Ironing - tonight while watching telly

Thanks for replying! ☺️
Did you get yours done or at least mostly?
I got a second wind at about 7pm and reorganised the bathroom and my DD’s wardrobe.
Today, we are going out later as ‘there’s more to life than housework’ but first got to complete:

L1s - towels in wash, swish and swipe one bathroom, 3 min hoover high traffic areas, make beds. Fold yesterday’s load.

Later, L2 - clean kitchen (well as much as can be done in 30 mins), sort out one kitchen cupboard

Pack as we are away this weekend.

Best wishes getting your stuff done. What do you do daily? What do you need to do?

i am off work this week so don’t normally achieve as much.

@Deliasyurt good luck with the washing. I think the actual washing is kind of ok to handle but the drying can be the issue. Do you do a load a day with a family of 5 or have to do more?
With the fluffy dog, do you brush him/her outside? Does that help a bit?

@RiktheButler how did you get on? Your work sounds interesting! Did you do the ironing? I have not ironed since around 2008!! Though it is nice when things are ironed. Now just smooth and fold/hang up straight off of airer. Things that really need it get a steam with garment steamer and DH does his work shirts.

Well, ironing has rolled over to today's list!

Work is a,social media brand supporting UK country music but sadly unpaid!
