Hope Ed gave you some room to sleep in the end Grouchy, our ds sleeps across our KSbed, taking up vitually all of it!

I did the mission earlier in the week too

I'm on my usual Friday mission to get the place tidy to allow family time over the weekend. I have the day off work tomorrow and we have SiL coming over for the afternoon so are looking forward to that.
I've done my morning routine already!
I need to
~dust and hoover throughout
~wash bedding
~wash towels
~take back library books and dvds
~perpare supper for date night (good idea TMH, dh and I always used to have a better eve on Fridays, it's since that slipped that the whole relationship has gone downhill)
~sort toy cars in playroom (ds has lost a favourite)
~clean bathroom and cloakroom
~cupboard in hall? (keep putting it off...)

I'll be back once I've done the school run x

I'm full of cold

Spent until midnight last night trying to sleep, but as my nose was completely blocked, and my throat as dry as a bone all I could do was fidget and get up and down to blow my nose etc.
DH got out of bed, and bought me the kids bean bag...propped it up in the corner and I actually fell asleep sitting up!
He got in with DD2 as I was sniffing and huffing and generally taking over the bed!

Its grim

Off to take kids to school...will drive up this morning though.

Morning all

Must be the night for poor sleep, as I didnt have a lot. Tossing and turning nad just could not get off and when I did DS1 woke me up needing the Loo, just got him back to bed when DHs alarm went off.

We are at Music and Moevement this morning and then off to a friends for a coffee this afternoon when DS2 wakes from his nap after lunch.

I am planning on Steak for DH tonight. I feel that I need to start making the effort too Bianca Things are always better when we allow time for each other.

Sorted the TV out yerterday, it was the remote that was broke (the nine button was pushed in).

Must ring TD man this am.

GOd I would love a Kingsize bed, we only have a double. If we get a little money we will be upgrading

Dd went into school more happily this morning She's going out with a friend after school today so I'm sure she'll ahve fun. Ds has 2 friends coming back to play this afternoon (yikes!)

I need to get on today. I was quite motivated first thing this morning but am running out of steam already. I'll have a cup of tea then get stuck in

Have spent an hour trying to work out how on earth I upload pictures from the limited choice of digital images we have onto the digital photo frame we got for Christmas - I wish I knew more about computers etc, I'm such a dunce!
Haven't managed to get any onto the picture frame but HAVE put a few new ones on my facebook page

Must hoover now

Just had this Oven Cleaning Company to clean my oven.After a few months ago a used Oven Pride & it stained the inside of the class door. It now looks like new took 1 hour & cost £49.50

grouchY hope you get some rest. Possibly Ed needs the same space as ellie needed last night. DH ended up in the spare room.
ludatake some honey,Lemon in hot water with some whiskey tonight..it may help.
tmh sounds like a nice idea. We have date night on saturday instead. DH's fav is TBone steak.
Bianca glad dd is brighter, hope she has a fab day at school.

Hello to gibberish, simply,ruby, FGS & anybody else who may follow. Just having lunch, and I've done todays mission. Estate agents coming tomorrow so I need to pop out to the shops later.

Well I'm not doing very well at all today.
My diet is going out the window because I feel soooo hungry today!
I can't be bothered to do the house, DD2 is insisting we go swimming, so I will probably do that later.
I want to go to keep fit tonight, but don't know whether I should go or not really.

My right nostril is permenantly blocked!

Might make one big effort to get on top of the house, and then see where I am from there.

Oh, EHM I fancy getting my cooker cleaned, might look into getting it done.

I've been getting on very well and the house is all tidy and clean (apart from those places I never do ) I didn't do the hall cupboard but cleared two large filing trays which have been bothering me for ages. In doing this I found a new home for awooden bowl my dad gave me, it's nice to have it out instead of away in a cupboard

Ellie is snotting & coughing like a good un. wont go down for her usual nap despite bnot sleeping well last night. I've scrubbed with bathroom with a toothbrush & its all shiny. Off to take Elsnoto to the park hopefully she will fall asleep in her buggy.

Poor Luda and Ellie What is with all these colds. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Evening All

Been catching up. I've just got back from work. When I woke up this morning there were 3 in the bed and the little one said 'snore snore snore'

Going KS is the best 6" in bad don't you know

Work was good but hell it's exhausting, physically and mentally. Mind you, I've done 13.5 hrs this week on top of traveling to and from work, being a mum, being a homemaker, being a wife and FLYing a plenty, not bad TBH for me really

Flying I just did the morning routine up to getting Ed's teeth cleaned. DH took him to school as he had the day off, mind you he worked until 3:30 this morning from a 9:30 start yesterday.

He says he'll make me a special tea tonight bless him

My Dad's coming tomorrow, Ed needs a haircut as he looks like Brian Jones from the Stones again, I need to get pack up supplies in and we need to do a big shop. Sunday if it is nice I'll tackle the garden (Leaves need sweeping and putting for collection, last year's veg beds need forking and fertilizing and I need to find space for Ed's greenhouse.

It's been a long week but it's worked out well, see you tomorrow x

I am so sorry about the foot, crocs are not a good going out look even in the summer IMO. I was going to get some, but could not bring myself to wear something my MIL wanted. Boys have them though - currently using them as slippers.

Groucy I think you have done really well. we need to attack the garden too.

Freind rang when I was at the chip shop and I will ring her back later to find out if all is OK.

And finally Baby L is home and mum and baby are much happier than in the hospital, although it is somewhat overcrowded at Brother house. Three Bed and there is Bro and SIL, Neice (2.10), Newphew (14) and Neice, partner and baby!!!! The social need to get their fingure out as she is definatly not returning to Uni after all this.

hello everyone

I've had a nightmare day today really.

DD2 is actually quite naughty. She keeps turning the PS3 and Xbox360 on and off. She keeps going into the fridge. And today she managed to get a dishwasher tablet out of the box, sealed packet and take a bite. Fortunately I got her straight away and washed her mouth out but whatever I say or do she doesn't listen. Now I know she's only 14 months but DD1 has always been pretty obedient and always responded to No, distraction, time out etc. I dont know what to do with DD2 as she is naughtier and seems to have selective hearing. Tips please?

I'm soooo tired. My cold has just about gone (2 weeks on) and DH is being great but everything just seems neverending.

I resorted to getting the travel cot out and when he did something naughty I sternly told him No and removed hom to one min to the travel cot. He is a very trying child at times still, although he is better when I keep him occupied.

DS2 well we are going through the tantrum stage (19 months) never had it with DS1 - He is a real hotheaded little man.

What can I say they both take after their mummy. I was hoping for daddys temprement he is so laidback.

Well, date night hasn't happened....my dad turned up for supper (step-mother is away) so I did him pancakes as he'd missed out on Tues! Won't get to eat togethre tomorrow either as SiL will be here...
Anyway, it was fun to have my dad here, I don't see much of him socially these days (see him most days but it's always work related)

Ruby I've shown both outfits to a couple of more trusted friends now and both prefer the 1st outfit I think the skirt is much better in RL and the coral colours suit me well. If anything others see the 2nd outift as the older of the two, lol! I'll ask SiL what she thinks tomorrow (as she'll eb at the wedding too) and make a proper decision then. The 2nd outfit is lovely too and dh has said he'll buy the necklace at least for me as a Valentine present

I'm not too bad!! bored, bored, bored! i was going to pay for a box office movie to watch on sky but it's just not much fun watching one alone!

As far as I'm concerned the night is over - dh will start office work soon and I'll have a bath and go to bed
