Dishwasher no hot water?

Hi all - before I call an engineer out, is there a possible simple reason why the dishwasher is running but on cold? Really would like to avoid spending the £ if there is something I could fix myself! Thank you

Heating element?
Not something I’d tackle tbh.

Ours did this after about 5 years and we had to buy a new one. I would give them a call and ask if it’s even fixable first. Hope it is!

@chloechloe oh crumbs, mine is about 4.5 years old. Soooo can’t afford a new one at the moment 😫

Fixing dish washers is easier than you think. Look on YouTube and you can see exactly what to do, step by step and googling will normally tell you exactly what the issue is. I replaced a temperature sensor on mine which seemed like a big job, but watching a YouTube video a few times made it pretty easy.
