Declutter Ziffit?

Hello,

So I have the usual mountain of dvds and books, all sorted and ready to get rid of. I have previously used ziffit and found them great, but this time it will scan 4 items accept them, but they are just under the five pound min send and then accept no more. If I pretend to do a new order it will accept the ones they just said no to, until I get to four items again and then say no they dont want.

It is so frustrating, is this a bug on the app or how they ensure you dont send loads to them?

Any other tips as to how to get rid of these items? Local charity shops are refusing books and dvds as they are overwhelmed, and I really don't want them to go to landfill. Have tried olio too, and just get the odd person asking for one very specific dvd.

Thanks fellow declutters

Have you tried music magpie or maybe offer them on a local Facebook page free as suitable for car booters?

Oooh the suitable for car boosters might work thank you. I tried music magpie but none of them were accepted which was annoying

I'm not happy with Ziffit. Recently shifted a large amount of books. Used Ziffit and Music Magpie to do this for the first time. Only sent items in good or better condition. Acceptable books went to several local charity shops/shelves. Anything else went to the local tip. I sent about two thirds of the books to Ziffit because their prices were more generous than MM. MM sorted quickly and paid the agreed price. Ziffit took a lot longer and knocked quite a lot off due to the condition. Ended up getting about 60% of agreed price. Wish I had sent the lot to MM and won't be using Ziffit again. Obviously just have to take this one on the chin but do wonder what they do with 'unwanted' items as mine were in a far too good condition to bin.
