I bought Bosch Series 6 washer/dryer from John Lewis in the end of 2019 and paid for Added Care as well.
The washer/dryer stopped working in the beginning of January. I contacted John Lewis Added Care who then referred the case to Capital Repairs.
Capital Repairs "engineers" arrived one week later, told my partner that the machine was 8 eights old (because they could not read the serial number) and it was a motor failure. They told us they ordered spare parts which should arrive within 3-7- working days. 7th working day was yesterday. I phone Capital Repairs they said Added Care should give us a new machine. When I phoned Added Care they told me the part will arrive on Monday or Tuesday.
I went on Bosch official website to find out the price of a new motor and a motor is not in the list of spare parts.
Next week will be one month since our washer/dryer stopped working and we are being kept footballed between Added Care and Capital Repairs.
Has anyone been in similar situation? What would you do?
