Leak Just Above Living Room Window

As anyone come across this. I have a leak which is a small drip just where by living room window meets the inside wooden window frame. It is in the top right hand corner about two inches in from the wall. It only does this when there is wind and rain directly on the window so doesn't do everytime it rains. There is no damp anywhere in the house and 2 builders and a roofer have been out to the property and cannot see where it is coming from. Also the sealant has been replaced on the window as well. Just don't know where it could be coming from?

My mum had a leak above a window. It was only when the rain was heavy and blowing in a certain direction. She had some of an adjoining roof repaired and also a fan above the window replaced. Neither stopped the issue. She then had a cavity wall tray fitted above the window and has not had a problem since.

Our lintels have decayed and it means water drips in when there is heavy rain with the wind bowing it against the wall.

we had this in our kitchen window, it was the pointing had blown which meant water was building up in the cavity
my builder son put trickle vents above the lintel these basically catch any water and run it away from the wall and then he repointed the brickwork and we havent had the problem since

These are really useful as the builders had been scratching their heads about this one.

When my mums builder put the cavity wall tray in the area above the window they also put a couple of holes there in case any water needs to drain away externally. My mum had an issue for a couple of years on this, I’ve just remembered she also had some of the rendering replaced around the window and that didn’t resolve it. The only thing that stopped it was the new cavity wall tray.
