Is anyone else just unable to keep up with their housework? I have a 9 month old DS and finding it near impossible to get anything done, as soon as he goes for a nap I start but he's awake again and I find myself just playing with him, having cuddles or we head out somewhere. My partner is a great help but he works full time. Advice would be much appreciated or even just knowing we're in the same boat.

i used to do kitchen washing up and clean after they were in bed (8pm) i had three children, hoover first thing in the morning before going out or they got toys out, bathroom general clean straight after they came out of the bath, made my bed as soon as i got out of it, washing machine put on while we were out so just needed drying when we came back, bedding stripped saturday morning and clean bedding put straight back on if you get into a routine once its all straight it dosent take long each day and believe me im not ocd my house was clean enough to be healthy and mucky enough to be happy

  1. Lower your standards
  2. If you have too much stuff, gradually get rid of it. Everything is more manageable when you have less clutter.
  3. Prioritise: clean clothes, food on the table and clean floors.
