Kelly's mission

No idea what babysteps people are on I'm afraid.

I only just found what zone we're in . Still full of cold and now have earache and an eye infection

Car in for service today though so we all have a whole day at home which I'm looking forward to

TMH Excellent news about Baby L. Isnt it funny how good news often follows bad, and vice versa. I hope he can come home soon. Do they know what the long term prognosis will be or is it a bit early to tell?

Thanks for the thread FGS Sorry you are still under the weather.

Rebaby L, no long term prognosis at all. They are going to show them some more physio to do with him and my family do go to the hospital to do that and feeding now.

I have the man coming to look at the TD after 11.30 and we are off to mums and toddlers this am.

I had a pants nigh sllep really bad tummy pains and some D - possibly off one of the children.

I will do mission when DS2 is asleep.

EHM enjoy the DIY I'm hoping the kids will have a sleep-over at PIL over half-term so I can finish afew niggly jobs around the place.

I'm going into school in a few minutes to help the reception class make pancakes think I might be mad! It's a good distraction from me pondering my uselessness at home
Need to have a tidy up today if I can, the house is a mess again - how does it keep getting so messy?! The cat has walked mud all across the living room carpet so I'll need to clean that this afternoon. The mission is one I need to do today too.

Got my 1st job interview at 12:30

Put rubbish to outdoor bins
Load WM and run
Serve breakfast
Wash porridge off Ed and clean teeth
Dress him for school (V important as local paper are coming to take the class photo)
Get his bag ready
Load DW and run
Take him to school
Home
Bring grey bin in
Empty DW
Put away
Sort wet washing to drying piles
Hang up the drying piles
Put almost dry washing in TD to finish off

I feel a lot better this morning than yesterday and no complaints from downstairs neighbour about water leaking, so I'm hoping our little bathroom flood by DD did not reach them!

To do:
-Bath DD and shampoo hair
-hang laundry
-do new load
-DW and sweep floors

janni hope the escape of water wasn't too bad. I am finding the small jobs very rewarding.

DD went for lunch with DH, proud of her freshly washed hair and wearing her best dress. Very very sweet.

Need to:
-hang laundry and do new load
-put away all laundry from service wash
-clean shoes
-clean out Rocky Balboa, our goldfish

Have only just got internet connection!

DD2 was absolutely fine this morning...very happy to be left (Thankfully)

I have tidied the house, done my keep fit dvd, and now I am going to have a bath before gardening club.

Hope everyone is ok...haven't managed to read through the threads yet. Have to quickly jump in the bath, so I'll catch you all in a bit.....if I can that is

Hi Luda - shouldn't the bath be AFTER the gardening?
EHM - I'm lucky he works nearby and can sometimes get out at lunchtime. I really value that bit of time to myself!

Next jobs: ironing, nephew's birthday card, prep potatoes for dinner, sort out tapes for DD

and finally: try to clean playdo off walls- the kids thought it was the same as blutac

Afternoon.

Just home from school with ds, dd has gone to her after-school club today.
I enjoyed the pancake making I think I made about 30 in the end! Not sure I feel like making more this eve with the kids but will nonetheless
I have been asked to help at a work event this eve from 6pm but am not sure I'll make it (not sure when dh will be home) I'm not really bothered either way tbh.

Luda this computer business must be getting really annoying! I'd go crazy without internet connection! Glad dd2 was OK at nursery

Hello to everyone else.

Not been a bad day here. Mickey slept downstairs last night without barking! I left the tv on quiet for him! Radio wouldn't work! Ileft him this afternoon while i picked DD up so that i could get some shopping. Asked next door to let me know how he had been. She said he barked a few imes but was quiet inbetween! plant had been knocked off the window sill so maybe better to shut curtains.

I cleaned the bathroom and washed up but thats about all because DD2 is still coughing a lot.

TMH - you poor thing, think of it as a distraction from bigger things Hope you get some TLC from DH.

I haven't had chance to catch up as I've had my hands full of Ed who is pestering for laptop time.

Thanks for all the good wishes for the interviews. Unfortunatley I was unsucessful at both. Nevermind, their loss. The right job will happen when it's right IYKWIM

thm sorry you are feeling under the weather - it never rains but it pours - if you get dehydrated then you need cooled boiled water with sugar and salt dissolved in it, a tablespoon of each for every litre of water.
fgs take it easy, these winter bugs seem to take ages to shake

Totally whacked today ds had me up from 3.30 until 5.45 this morning and I was up shortly after. This is the 3rd night in 4 he's done this I really need some sleep now.

I am sorting out boys clothes from the cupboard and putting them on a picture trail to try and sell on mn! 3-4,5-6,6-7 & 7-8y. Its taking ages!
