Hello!
Do you recommend any particular wool washing machine capsules?
I tried Amazon.co.uk but couldn't find much and some Woolite seem hugely expensive.
Thanks!

Is there a particular reason you want a capsule? I use Ecover Wool & Silk liquid but I’m not precious - I’d use any supermarket own brand. I’d also reduce the quantity stated since they overestimate how much you need

I'm using Woolite, but I would prefer to avoid plastic - years ago, Dreft flakes used to be sold in a cardboard box. Can't find anything like that. I know you aren't bothered about plastic, but the trend seems to be liquids for woollens - hard to find an alternative.

Sainsburys do their own wool /delicate wash it’s not expensive and it’s really good. I’ve washed in machine with it.

Agreed if you are only washing two or three items the capsule contains too much whereas you can dose the liquid to suit

I just use Persil or fairy non-bio capsules for any woollens I machine wash.

Woolite for me too. Also good for silk.

Ecover Wool & Silk ( liquid) is lovely. Smells of watermelon. We have soft water so I use very little, and my woollens keep really well. We

I never use Woolite , it's widely known in the knitting community that it felts knitwear.

I use either Lakeland lavender or a tiny drop of baby shampoo.

Thanks all! Very useful but I really need something I can throw into the washing machine tub?

I use Eucalan no rinse wool wash, the lanolin is really good for the wool.
