Help stained wool carpet

There's a big brown stain on our 4th old wool carpet from our Christmas tree - I blame DH's over zealous watering of said tree & a probable overspill. It is in a visible place too 😡 I've treated it with my Vax spot cleaner vaccum thingy using their solution. It's better but still there. Do I just keep going at it or any better solutions?

Get the professionals in. They should be able to get rid of it.

Thanks @OhhhhhhhhBiscuits, I'd rather try & do ourselves. I'm quite sensitive to chemicals & would worry what they use would mean I couldn't use that room for weeks. Might need to have a conversation with one of them...
