Blinds that fit/clip to the window

I want to change from curtains to blinds in the downstairs living space. This is to accommodate a rather large plant collection that keep getting knocked everytime I pull the curtains. Can you get blinds that clip into the window? Or fit the actual window. Do you recommend any or have alternative suggestions? I'm a bit overwhelmed with choices! Thank you!

If you Google Blinds 2 Go, they do perfect fit blinds that do exactly as you've said, they clip into the frame of the window. You've got to be super precise in measuring them, but they are fantastic and so neat.

If you google perfect fit blinds lots of different companies sell them. We had ours from 247 blinds though.

Thank you @SnackyOnassis and @asdmama I really appreciate your replies! Will check it out now. Thanks again!

Perfect fit blinds fit on the window?

We had similar installed through John Lewis. Neat and easy to use.

notapizzaeater · 07/01/2023 13:16

I've used blinds 2 go for perfect fit blinds, love them

Blinds2Go are brilliant!

Marilla1966 · 07/01/2023 14:06

Our Blinds 2 Go blinds and curtains arrived last week. I measured 10 times to be sure 🤣 but they were really easy to put up and literally clip into the fixings. So, so happy with them x

Tomanyhandbags · 07/01/2023 14:13

We bought ours from Hilarys Blinds, they measured and fitted them have had them 3 years now and still look as good as new.

We got ours at Unbeatable Blinds- Venetian white wooden. They were the cheapest by a long way.

We had new windows, and wanted then all over the house- ordered first for the bay window (to make sure we were happy with the service and quality) and then 2 further orders for the rest of the house.

Easy to install and sleek- window ledges fully usable, and east to remove if you want to wash the insides of the windows.

Are the perfect fit blind suitable for old wooden sash windows?

im looking for something to keep the heat out in case we have extreme temps again this summer.

barbrahunter · 08/01/2023 12:54

I got mine at Hillary's too and they're fine. The only thing I would add is to make sure that your windows are properly insulated, because the blinds are slightly inside the window frames so there isn't the same insulation that curtains provide.

Krakenes · 08/01/2023 13:28

Blinds2go are brilliant.

Thethingswedoforlove · 08/01/2023 14:57

thomas sandersons provide these too. Ours look really good in two different rooms.

mogglemoo · 08/01/2023 15:38

The ‘clip’ bracket thing is slid into the rubber seal between the frame and the glass. Each of the companies have guidance.

Doliveira · 09/01/2023 13:26

Ah, and sash windows don’t have a rubber seal.

SSam87 · 09/01/2023 13:48

Another vote for Blinds 2 go and also Make My Blinds - have used both - one for bathrooms and the other for everywhere else. Both easy and much the same really! Definitely order samples though - some were quite different to how i saw them on the website.

picklemewalnuts · 09/01/2023 14:38

Thanks for these suggestions. I had no idea that system inside the window was so straight forward!
