How do I easily clean my dirty washing machine drawer?

It's filthy. It gets all mouldy and black every now and then and I spend ages hand washing it and scrubbing at the hard to access bits with an old toothbrush.

Do you think I might be able to put it in the dishwasher? Or is there some other way of cleaning it easily?

I put mine in the dishwasher, no problem

Can you soak it in bleach or white vinegar ?

Mine goes in the dishwasher and I clean out the washing machine space with a brush & cloth whilst its doing.

So for the past twenty years I've been scrubbing at it and it turns out it's OK to go in the dishwasher
