Nutri bullet HELP

PhilCollinsFanGirl · 04/01/2023 09:13

Bit embarrassing but I've owned a nutri bullet since August 2021 and never used it (because I'm a twatty procrastinator of things I'm fearful of).

Can anyone offer your surefire recipes that you can't do without for you/kids? Ones that taste great and are also good for you.

I'd be forever in your debt. Muchos gracias.

Do you still have the little recipe book that came with it?

Otherwise trial and error works well. Try stuff you/your kids like with a few veggies snuck in. So eg banana, grapes, apples strawberries with some spinach.

Banana is thickening, so is peanut butter, yoghurt, milk, porridge oats, but you can just add water to the fruit/veggies.

I do a green one which is a half avocado, couple of handfuls of spinach some connamon, couple of mint leaves, top up with water.

Banana and pineapple with coconut milk is lush.

Ahhh wow thanks so much. I remember thinking that the booklet that came with it was quite uninspiring so things that's why I didn't crack straight on and use it.

I like the idea of banana and pineapple and the avo one.

Legend. Thanks 😊

I don't use the little book!

I have the avo one myself, other people don't seem to like it! I use the oppirtunity to add in anti-inflammatories like turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and sometimes cumin.

The key is just making sure you add liquid, should be up to halfway if not to the max line.

4 icecubes
2-3 dates (depending on type and size)
1tsp of vanilla extract
250ml milk of choice
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp peanut butter (smooth)
1/2 tsp cinnamon.

Whizz

Slurp

As above but replace ice with frozen banana and add handful of spinach.

As above but add a shot of coffee (no banana or spinach) this one is very rich.

Use the 4 bladed base for this

@SophiaLarsen thanks so much for responding...I'll give those a go 🤗

I love mine. It's an easy way of getting plenty of fruit and veg without losing the fibre.

I have coconut water blitzed with fruit like a pear, fresh pineapple or melon and berries. Watch out for too much blueberry as for some reason it turns the drink to jelly.

Also great for making breadcrumbs from stale bread. And if you get the small attachment too it's amazing for things like Thai curry paste

I use mine for blending ginger, garlic, chilli, tomato etc when making curries.
If done carefully it's great for finely chopping an onion
I also use it for protein shakes
