If you house is like mine there's a million and one jobs always needing to be done but there is always a particular one than I keep putting off.
Anyone want to join me by getting that one particular job done today? It won't be around to bug us another day longer.

My job is:-

Just after Christmas I tidied up dds' toy room. It looked immaculate but I ended up with a huge pile of stuff that I just didn't know what to do with. So I stuck it all into two big black bin liners and it's been sat in my bedroom ever since. Today I plan to sort them out - to be honest I think I'd be better off not even looking in them and throwing them straight into the bin. DDs haven't missed any of it!!!

So what are you going to do?

I'm going to sit here and wait for you to come back from sorting out your crap and eat toast and drink coffee and rest!

I agree though, dump the bags straight in the bin, don't look back!

I did mine yesterday - sorted both the dd's wardrobes dd1 has had a huge height growth spurt so one black bag of stuff (mainly trousers as although shes 3.5 she needs 4-5 for length and a belt to hold the waist up ) in loft for dd2. Then have hung all her new sized clothes up and sorted into winter/spring/summer (otherise dh would dress her in summer stuff when its freezing!). Went through all her underwear, socks etc as well

dd2 (13months) wardrobe sorted all 9-12month stuff took pics and loaded onto picturetrail to sale and hung all her 12-18 month stuff up and got 18-24 month bag down from loft to see if there was anything she needs for the summer.

Took 2 hours but it needed doing and it feels better not having tonnes of stuff around that doesnt fit/sitting in bags waiting to be hung up

We spent 9 hours(!) cleaning our kitchen on saturday - everything out of cupboards, and have got rid of everything we don't need/use/want. It feels SO good!
