I’m probably going to buy a robot vacuum and mop, but which one? I’m leaning towards Roomba 7 or 7+ and a Braava m6.
We have laminate throughout downstairs with no room thresholds, but inset coir doormats at the front and back door, with carpets throughout upstairs, apart from the bathrooms.
I like the idea of the Roomba emptying itself, but am less keen on the large base station and the idea of using disposable bags. I’m not averse to adding “empty Roomba” to my daily routine if it will keep my floors clean instead!
If I get the manual emptying one, could the charging stations live under the sideboard (assuming they can get under of course). Or will I need to move the charging station upstairs when it’s doing upstairs? I realise this is a how long is a piece of string question, but would be interesting to hear experiences.
