help - I have a new dishwasher and I don't know how to use it....

I have never owned a diswasher before (well apart from dh) and this one has no insturctions - whichc is very annoying as everyhting else (including the fridge) came with instructions...

I have put stuff in but what about detergents...do I just need dishwasher tablets or do I need salt?

Ha ha found it online - thanks for the advice and the free dishwasher tablets have salt and rinse aid on them...well shoved it on and things came out clean!

it'll still need dishwasher salt though cazzybabs. get some the next time you are in the supermarket. it won't matter til then even if the tablets do say it's added. it still needs it. there's probably a screw on lid somewhere in the base of the machine - undo that and pour the salt in til its full then screw the cap back on.
