Daily Shower Cleaner Spray Left Horrible Residue

I bought the Essential Waitrose daily shower spray to try and keep my glass shower screen free of watermarks. It's left a horrible residue that will not clean off! It's like an oily film that has gone hard. I have tried Viakal, CIF Shower mousse, Flash bathroom spray and it will not shift.

Any ideas?

If it’s an oily film I would try a sponge, some fairy liquid and a lot of elbow grease!
Fairy works on greasy dishes so should get it off.

Magic sponge might work.

Yes I tried a magic sponge and it had helped. It’s not completely gone but it’s much better.
I will never be using this spray again!

Bizarre we love that stuff and have no issues with residue!

Has it maybe reacted with anything else you’ve used on the screen?

you sure its poily stuff left and not permanent marks? Did you leave it on for too long and its marked the glass? I ask as I used another spray about 20 years ago
and I used to spray, get dressed and clean but that day DH called me into the bedroom and i did not come abck to the bathroom for an hour and the new shower/glass was permantly marked. I hope yours cleans up.

The marks on our shower glass were like water marks never ever got rid of them, my fault.

@July70 it’s a daily shower spray so it’s not supposed to be washed off. You spray the shower and leave it and it’s supposed to prevent limescale and watermarks. Only it’s left an oily film.
Its possible it’s reacted with another cleaner but unlikely as they get thoroughly rinsed off.
