Zaflora/pregnancy

Hi all,

what’s your thoughts on using Zaflora while pregnant (I’m 26 weeks) I have 2 large indoor cats so when cleaning up I use the pet friendly one. I have separate mops that I disinfect.. one I use to clean round the cats litter tray (partner cleans the tray) and one for the house...today I done something stupid and filled up a basin with 2 caps of zaflora and boiling water to disinfect the cats mop head as one of them was sick and I used it to clean up the mess. I normally wear a mask and this time I didn’t and inhaled the fumes from the basin. I quickly realised I wasn’t wearing a mask and moved the basin into the bathroom next to an open window and shut the door to let the mop head soak. Now I’m panicking I’ve done harm to my baby by inhaling the fumes. Apologies in the stupidity but has anyone else accidentally done this before as I have terrible anxiety and is there any other cleaning product you recommend instead that isn’t as potent?. Thanks.

You will be fine. Just don't drink the stuff!

Don't panic, you won't have done any harm.
Pregnant women are cleaning houses all across the world using all kinds of toxins.

I switched to using Method cleaning products during pregnancy, and haven't switched back since having babies. Perhaps have something a little more "natural" in the cleaning cupboard for the future x

Wouldn’t worry I used zoflora etc all through my pregnancy and my baby is fine 😊

Im 26 weeks pregnant and cleaning like a mad lady currently and have done since I got pregnant. Hasn't even occurred to me that I couldn't use certain products. I had a scan today and baby was fine. So I'm sure there's no harm done. Having said that, switch to something natural if you're worried.

Thanks all for the advice! I’m such a worrier. I love the Method cleaning products so will stock up on those next.. the Rhubarb one was my favourite for ages.

I did and I am still here. Yes I know it has a scent and all...

I mixed it with water and put it in my laundry bag then for some reason I did not go to the laundrette that night. I took it out the bag and put it on my bed and later thought oh good I have some water left. I took a sip.....

Rushed to kitchen and swilled around my mouth and I am fine just rather embarrassed!
