Sticky things to stop items banging into each other

Hi. I can't think of the name to type into Amazon.

I have a 3 pendant kitchen light and one has banged into the other and broken.

I wanted to stick something onto the sides that won't be visible. Is there such a thing as clear spongy stickers 😂😂

Any ideas?
