Change of plan as now going out for dinner and no time to cook now.

I defrosted chicken overnight. It has fully defrosted now. Can I cook it tomorrow morning? Thanks

It all depends what date was on it in the first place. If it was frozen on the use by date then it needs chucking if not used on the day it's been defrosted. If it had a few days before the use by it should be fine!

I would say within 24 hours.

I think you're supposed to use within 24 hours of defrosting, but I'm never sure if defrosting overnight when something starts being fully defrosted 😁

Used within 24 hours in the slow cooker and all good

About 20 hours after completely defrosted FYI

I had always assumed it was a “use immediately after defrosted” jobbie
