How to get blood out of a carpet?

I haven't murdered anybody, promise.

I had a nosebleed and was in too much of a state to clean it up immediately, and now I can't get a bloodstain out. It's about the size of a £2 coin. Any ideas?

salt! sprinkle over the blood and then leave it to soak it up. Then use cold water and dab it out.

I rubbed blood out using cold water with some salt in in. Dab it on the stain then gently rub and blot it out. Don't use hot or warm water as it sets the blood and will leave a stain.

Do not use anything warm or hot on it, douse with cold salty water and then soap. If it’s an acrylic carpet you could use bleach.

Hydrogen peroxide.

The best thing to dissolve blood is saliva from the same person.

Spit on it if you can, gently rub and then do any of the other suggestions.

Rub with an ice cub.

Why not? That would have been my go to with an immediate solution? Don’t get what your issue is 🤷🏻‍♀️
