How to stop laundry balling in tumble dryer

Just that really .
I'm finding it hard to dry bedding and throws outside but they take forever in the tumble dry because they ball and the hot air can't circulate.
Does anyone have any tips please

Dryer balls!

Fasten duvet covers before washing. Put less in per dryer load. Give them a shake to separate halfway through.

Thanks both . I've bought some dryer balls so will give them a go first .

Try splitting the load and running each part for half the time?
Might still be a bit damp after that, but you can give a bit more time, and total time should be similar to the infuriating balled-up lump scenario!
