Help! My marble ruined by viakal

My cleaner has been spraying viakal on my taps (fine obvs) but it looks as though she's been spraying all round taps and onto surrounding marble tiles then leaving for a while to work before rinsing iff.

The marble tiles are fading in a circle round the taps. All lustre gone iyswim?

Help! Please tell me how can I get the shine back?

I’m not sure you can… the marble has been dissolved.

Ask her to stop using it - she might not realise that it dissolves marble. Or might not realise it’s real marble.

We had this on black marble tiles. We’ve spent a fortune on “miracle” products, including shipping ones over and we haven’t made a difference at all, we’d have been better either paying someone to restore them or to get them retiled. Sorry OP, unless you get them professionally polished I don’t think you’ll get them back to how they were (we even bought special drill attachments, they did nothing)
