Getting turmeric stains out

Has anyone been able to get old turmeric stains out of a garment? My stupid boyfriend didn't treat it straight away and it's been a couple of days and stain remover and then putting it in the washing machine didn't work so hoping to find something else

If it’s been through the dryer the heat might have set the stain.

Try natural sunlight - wet the garment then leave the stained side hanging in a window.

Ariel liquid - neat on both sides of stain. Leave for days, wash again and hang outside.

I had a turmeric stain on a table cloth. The only thing that worked for me, after numerous attempts with various stain removers, was hanging it outside and letting the sun do it’s magic!

Burn it?

i am a whizz at most stains. But I’ve never managed reliably to get that stuff out.

but otherwise try sunlight. It often works where others fail

Sunlight... or more accurately at this time of year, a week out on the washing line in the elements. More patience required than in summer.
