Fox-Pee Smell in the house!!

HELP!

The last few days the smell of fox-pee has appeared in our house from somewhere!

We have bleached the floors, cleaned upholstery, toys, dogs, surfaces, jet washed the garden... literally everything, but we cant get the smell out of the house.

We have (like crazy people) been crawling around the house sniffing the floors/surfaces but the smell doesnt seem to be on anything in particular, just lingering in the air.

We live in mid-terrace Victorian house, and our neighbours don't seem to be having any issues at all.

I've got a couple of quotes for drain cleaning which are around £200, but wanted to check if anyone had any ideas first before forking out more money!!

bicarbonate of soda sprinkled everywhere, left for some tme then hoovered? cut onions soak up bad smells too. Also febreeze?

Are you sure it's fox and not you neighbour smoking weed?

Have you got a basil plant?

Have you checked the drain at the bottom of the inside of the fridge?

You say you have dogs, have they rolled around in it and brought it in? You can get pet enzyme cleaning stuff.

Do you have kids who wear football boots? Once they get damp they smell of wee!

somebodycutmygrass · 14/11/2022 13:43

It'll be cannabis. Put your ear to you air bricks and listen for the whirring of fans (they might be growing it)

PoppySangster · 14/11/2022 16:38

It’s not weed/cannabis. No football boots and the dogs have been showered twice now!

Why the drain at the bottom of the fridge, out of curiosity?
