Robust kettle recommendations

Please!

Latest kettle has just died so I'm looking for a replacement that's going to last a bit longer than previous kettles.

I've had a few from an an expensive KitchenAid (that one was plagued inside and out by limescale) to cheaper.

I like my little Sage kettle, it’s lasted for ages and is really quiet, fast and not too heavy.
However for sheet durability I have a cheap plastic Argos kettle in work - no idea if it has a make or not - which has been absolutely hammered for 12 years now and is still going strong.

I like Dualit - not cheap but you get a good warranty

Had the same stainless steel Dualit one for 10 years now and still going strong!

Was going to suggest this. I had rotten kettle luck until we got a Sage soft close model.

It's perfect and so far is lasting well.

We went through a lot of kettles before our Dualit. The water level viewing window looks like it has laods of cracks, but there's no sign of it leaking.
Magimix kettles were the worst. They had 3 year warranties and I had two replacements under warranty before I lost the receipt.

Thanks very much!

I'd never heard of Sage, but it looks like a nice design. I'm going to check out all the other recommendations and try to find somewhere with a three year guarantee offer as well I think.

Another vote for dualit. Six years old and good as new, I descale it monthly. It’s stainless steel and just needs a wipe over to keep it looking nice. Would def buy another.
