Socktopus

Hi, if you have a socktopus, where do you hang it? I'm desperately trying not to use the tumble dryer and these are great for drying all the odds and ends, but I'm struggling to find a convenient place to hang it......

On the curtain pole in front of the window sometimes with the window open a little crack to get the air blowing on it (that's during the day)

At night if the heating is on, the socktopus (love that term) which is on the curtain rail above the radiator twirls round a bit from the hot air rising.

Our clothes horse has a wee flap that opens out at the top so I hang it on that.

DH. hangs it on the curtain railin the spare room, with the window slightly open.

It drives me mad as I can't reach it.

In the airing cupboard with the hot water tank

I double spin and then dry clothes on an airer, so I just hang the sock thingy off the airer. I’ve seen other people hang them off a door frame, but I guess that depends how tall you are!

I use a mobile clothes rail to hang tops to dry on using coat hangers (then move straight to wardrobe, ultimate in efficiency!), and hang my socktopuss on the end of that.
