How often do you empty your vacuum cleaner

In a three-bed house it is full before I get down the stairs. Should we be using it more often or is this normal? It’s a Dyson.

All the upstairs then do the stairs and it’s full. I use a carpet sweeper a couple of times a week, but don’t vacuum upstairs very often - maybe once a month. I might wipe the bathroom floor occasionally in between.

I empty it probably once every 10 days. I hoover every 3 days upstairs and down.

Usually 2-3x. Depends on if we've gone longer than a day or not between cleaning!

Everytime I use the hoover thanks to cat hair.

I empty it after 20 mins as it sucks hard and fills to capacity with 20 mins vacuuming.

Whoa, you guys have some powerful machines! I have a dyson downstairs and vacuum 2 to 3 times a week but empty it about every 2 to 3 weeks. I have a miele cannister upstairs and vacuum 3 or 4 times a month and the bag gets full after several months.

We have a small vax chargeable one so small canister, probably empty after every one or two uses but we have a dog and hoover most days and upstairs 1/2 times a week at least

Shark, so canister is small. Three bed house, all carpets upstairs apart from bathroom. Stairs are carpeted. That would fill vacuum cleaner and it'd need emptying. Once a week thoroughly (under beds etc) and once or twice a week for traffic areas.

Downstairs is hard floor and rugs. Vacuumed every day or two and emptied once or twice a week. Cats and dogs in the house and we (four adults) all WFH, so home all day.
