I've moved into a new place with these tiles. I'm not sure exactly what they are made of but they are cold like stone. Any ideas what they are made of and what I can safely clean them with please?

Looks like limestone … but might not be! What you need is a neutral (ph 7) cleaner. I’ve put a link below to what I use for my clients and at home, which is suitable for limestone, marble, slate, granite etc.

It doesn’t need to be rinsed if you dilute it as per the instructions - if you’re using a mop and bucket, you only need 25ml in 5 litres of water. My own kitchen is small, so 15ml in 3 litres is more than enough to do my limestone tiled kitchen and quarry tiled lobby.

I recommend putting hot water in the bucket first, THEN adding the product to avoid foam.

Thank you so much! At last I can clean my floor without worrying I'll have to buy a new one afterwards!
