Hi guys I hope someone can help me, I registered for social housing at the beginning of 2021 and it is now October 2022, I was sent a bidding number in August but told to wait another 30 days I then called and email the council who told me there was a backlog so I waited some more. Yesterday I called them again and told them if I could start bidding which they told me I could but my bidding number and DOB were not working, I come to find out that the bidding number I was given belonged to someone else as well as my case number I had received. I’m not sure if this breaches any date protection as I was told their names and DOB on the call. I was also told my own application was still being processed even though it’s coming to 2 years now. Someone please help and advise?
