Stain removal

Hello, I feel like I have got to 37 without really being able to remove stains properly!

Would anyone be able to tell me how they remove:

Butter mark in jeans (I soaked in cold water, applied a stain remover and washed fairly hot in biological)

Old foundation marks on the neck parks of puffer jackets

Normally I don't worry too much about stains but I'm trying to make clothes last longer and so I'd like to really remove stains etc!

Thank you!

Liquid soda crystals on an oil stain, then put some dry soda crystals in the wash (just in the drawer with your powder) works well. You can also soak in a mix of soda crystals and water before washing if that’s easier.

Im watching for the foundation marks solution!

@PrettyMuchBollocks fantastic, thank you!

Soda crystals added to my sainsburys order, I hadn't heard of them before!
