HOTPOINT CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER 8KG B RATED H3D81BUK

Beko DTLCE80051B Freestanding 8kg Condenser Tumble Dryer - Black

I've never had one before, and have a minimal idea of how they work, what to avoid etc. I really don't want it to be one of those appliances that you buy and then regret because it doesn't live up to your expectations.
I want it black so it matches all my other appliances, create less creases so I don't have to iron, and obviously dry well enough that I can just put the clothes away straight out of the dryer, condenser drawer must be at the top so it's easy to empty.

Does anyone have either of these or can recommend one?

Oh,and the descriptions don't mention how long the drying cycles are. Would a short cycle be sufficient for a load?

I have a Candy SmartPro and it’s been the best investment ever. I had a 20 year old clunky thing and this one is amazing compared. Mine is vented but you can get condenser versions.

Very quiet and intelligent so even if I put it on a 2hr cycle it stops as soon as the clothes are dry (and even with a full load it rarely takes more than an hour). I can dry 6 large towels in around 45mins.

It also has an ironing setting, so I can chuck my work stuff in for 10 mins and they come out wrinkle free!

An ironing setting!! That's my main incentive to buy one tbh! Can you use that for full loads?

Thank you.
My sister has a beko one and she loves it but I finally found the tape measure and realised the gap is 60cm wide...so I'll have about 5cm space between dryer and cupboards. Is that enough?

Hi @Peachyscream Thanks for posting. I'm not sure if you're still looking, but if you are, take a look at our article on the best tumble dryers. There's a selection of dryers to suit all budgets and was put together thanks to the recommendations of Mumsnet users and consumer reviews. Hope you find it useful!
