We have a Russel Hobbs Quiet Boil which sounds like a Boeing 747 taking off !
It was quiet before now it isn't . We have a through lounge/kitchen-diner and have to pause the TV to boil the kettle ( I know , FWP)
On the toaster thread Dualit gets good reviews , are the kettles quiet ?
Hard water area but we filter water .
