Gross hard underarms on DH's tshirt

DH has a tshirt where the underarms have hard bits. I cannot work out what has caused it. It's an old tshirt and not from my washing. Is it from deodorant? Lack of washing in the past, in other words before my time??

Most of all how do I get rid of it?

It's dried sweat, basically. I don't think you can get rid of it, just buy new tee shirts.

I believe its from deodrant. I think you can do a baking soda, vinager thing with it. Have a Google.

Vanish on the arm pits and wash in powder, no softner etc.

It's the deodorant. DH is probably putting on the tshirt before the deodorant has dried.

I get that too. Its my deodorant. I only tend to buy cheap t-shirts and bin them when they are too manky.

Roll on deodorant for sure. I made DH switch to spray on and it started to wash out once it stopped accumulating.

Sweat and deodorant mixed. Throw it away
